Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Steady Wealth application (“Service”), available at steadywealth.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Suncraft Collective LLC d/b/a Steady Wealth (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

• “Service” refers to the Steady Wealth web application, APIs, and all related services.
• “User,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Service.
• “Content” means any data, text, images, or other materials you upload, submit, or transmit through the Service.
• “Subscription” means a paid plan (Pro) that provides access to premium features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Description of Service

Steady Wealth is a manual net worth tracking application. Users manually enter and maintain their financial account balances, including assets and liabilities, and the Service provides dashboards, charts, trend tracking, milestone tracking, and portfolio analytics based on the data you provide.

Key characteristics:

• Steady Wealth does not connect to your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, or any financial institution.
• We do not use Plaid, Yodlee, or any bank aggregation service.
• All financial data in the Service is entered by you, either manually or via optional screenshot import (OCR).
• The screenshot import feature uses optical character recognition to assist with data entry; extracted values must be reviewed and confirmed by you before saving.

6. User Data & Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all data you enter into the Service. Steady Wealth does not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any financial data displayed in the Service.

The optional screenshot import (OCR) feature is an assistive tool only. OCR technology may produce errors. You are required to review all extracted values before saving and are responsible for correcting any inaccuracies. We are not liable for any errors resulting from OCR processing.

Market prices displayed for securities (sourced from Yahoo Finance) and property estimates (sourced from Zillow) are provided as reference data only and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. These values should not be relied upon for trading or investment decisions.

7. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Subscription & Billing

Steady Wealth offers two subscription tiers:

• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
• Free trial: New users may receive a 30-day free trial of Pro features. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• Auto-renewal: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each annual billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
• Refunds: We generally do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@steadywealth.app.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overburden the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without our prior written consent.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Use the Service to store, transmit, or process data that you do not have the right to use.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part thereof.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all other content created by us, is owned by Suncraft Collective LLC d/b/a Steady Wealth and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

The Service integrates with or relies upon the following third-party services. Each has its own terms of service and privacy policy:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

12. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, which may result in temporary interruptions.

We do not offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA). We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or inability to access the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Suncraft Collective LLC d/b/a Steady Wealth, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Your violation of any third party's rights.
• Any content or data you submit to the Service.

17. Account Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@steadywealth.app. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of serious violations.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Sections 5, 6, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 20) will survive.

18. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

19. General Provisions

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
• Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For any Disputes not subject to arbitration, you agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, United States.
